Before you start
If the receiver cannot reach the network, account changes will not help. Check the network name, signal and setup instructions for that hardware.
A practical way through
- Use the manufacturer’s recommended power supply and allow ventilation. Unstable power or overheating can resemble a streaming problem.
- Check that another ordinary internet service works on the same device. A working phone connection does not prove the television has a stable connection.
- Put the phone and receiver on the same local network. Guest Wi-Fi or client isolation can prevent discovery even when both devices reach the internet.
- Restart both sending and receiving devices, then try again with them near the router. A receiver that is off or on another network will not appear.
- On iPhone, check the app’s local-network permission and any relevant receiver setting. Reopen both apps after changing permissions.
Check the result
Test one live channel and, where available, one on-demand item. Check picture, sound and navigation. If the result is different from what you expected, note the exact error before changing another setting.
